Have your say

A midweek of cup action is out of the way, with just one of our clubs coming through there - let's see how they all get on in the league again.

Sheffield Wednesday v Middlesbrough

The Owls are clearly still a work in progress, but I feel there has, indeed, been some progress made. The football is better but the goal scoring problems, though not to the same extent, still exist. As for Boro, for all their big money signings, they've got off to a sluggish start, but I'd expect them to click into gear soon. Not before dropping points at Hillsborough though. Prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 1 Middlesbrough 1

Rotherham United v Fulham

The Millers were unlucky last week at QPR and bar an opening day battering, that's been the story of their season so far. But hard luck stories we no good to anyone and it's time to start putting points on the board. Fulham have once again been poor since the kick off and Steve Evans men could be ready to really come good. Prediction: Rotherham United 2 Fulham 1

Swindon Town v Sheffield United

That unbelievable game at the County Ground a few months ago is still very much fresh in the memory but I don't think we'll see the same amount of goals. Both defences have tightened up a bit at least and traveling Blades fans might have to settle for a point here, which wouldn't be a bad return. Prediction: Swindon Town 1 Sheffield United 1

Doncaster Rovers v Fleetwood

Surely things have to turnaround for Rovers soon. Perhaps the cup exploits against Ipswich will give them a lift, having taken a good side to extra time. Luke McCullough's injury is a blow but Cameron Stewart's arrival offers a fresh option. Just a hunch, but a home win. Prediction: Doncaster Rovers 1 Fleetwood 0

Rochdale v Barnsley

The Reds are another team who can be buoyed by their cup performance, after a superb display against Everton. They looked potent in attack and defended well, all things considered. Lee Johnson's men have a similar record to Rochdale's but have more goals. I think the confidence taken from finding the net against the Toffees could sharpen things up. Prediction: Rochdale 1 Barnsley 2

Millwall v Chesterfield

Tough one for Spireites who take on a Millwall side who are still finding their feet in League One. The Den is never an easy place to go and Dean Saunders men find themselves coming up against a team who have to get better some day. Probably today. Prediction: Millwall 1 Chesterfield 0
