Sheffield United have confirmed the signing of four new players this afternoon.

Febian Brandy, Stephen McGinn, Sean McGinty and Jasper Johns have all agreed deals at Bramall Lane, as new United boss David Weir shapes his squad ahead of the new League One campaign.

Former Walsall winger Febian Brandy has signed a two-year deal, and is joined by versatile Scotsman McGinn, aged 24, defender McGinty, 19, and 18-year-old former Everton man Jasper Johns.

“Sheffield United is a side that shouldn’t be in League One,” Brandy told The Star.

“It was a no-brainer really when I heard they were interested in me.

“I spoke with David last week and I liked what he had to say about the place, and I can’t wait to get going.”

“I played here last season and there was a good atmosphere,” Brandy added.

“I feel relaxed and at home here, before I’ve even played.”

McGinn and McGinty have signed two-year deals at United, with Johns agreeing a one-year contract.

United have the option to extend all four deals for a further year.
