Have your say

Sheffield United have found praise hard to come by in their League One campaign this season, even from their own supporters. However, last night’s emphatic 4-0 win over Scunthorpe United saw Blades fans hail the display in what is a critical stage of the season.

Goals from Jason Holt and Jamie Murphy, plus two converted spot kicks by Jose Baxter, taking his tally to three in a matter of days, saw off the Iron and aside from Scunthorpe boss Mark Robins’ praise of Nigel Clough’s side Unitedites were quick to express how impressive their team were at the Lane.

Here is a selection of Blades’ fans’ views:

@Blades7150 - Never been the biggest fan of Flynny but must say that his inclusion last night gave the team balance and space for Murphy. #twitterblades

@HelenSUFC72 - Thinking back to last night, thought Holt played really well, was very terrier like, buzzing round, quite Scougall-esque #twitterblades

@Tipsy_Turner - Basham was my man of the match last night. Although though flynn was the key pushing forward. Very positive #Twitterblades

@danatkin5 - Thought Coutts second half last night was as good as he’s been for us by some distance. Bodes well. #twitterblades #sufc

@conarprice - Surely the defence has got to stay the same now? No McEveley back in. 2 clean sheets in a row. Looks like Clough has found an XI #sufc
