HARTLEPOOL have conceded a whopping 24 goals in their dozen away games, at an average of two per match, and Sheffield United are just 1/2 at Ladbrokes to add at least another two to the visitors’ goals against column at Bramall Lane.

At the other end, League One’s bottom club have managed only seven goals on the road so a Blades clean sheet at 4/5 with BetVictor looks likely, thus lending appeal to Skybet’s 11/10 for Danny Wilson’s men to prevail ‘to nil’.

Despite the probable lack of Hartlepool goals, the fixture is still odds-on at 8/11 (Stan James) to produce three or more overall.

Nick Blackman and Dave Kitson are 15/4 (bet365) and 4/1 (BetVictor) respectively to break the deadlock today.

Paddy Power price Sheffield Wednesday at 3/1 to manage a fourth consecutive shutout as they travel to Huddersfield, where Stan James rate Mamady Sidibe at 7/1 to follow his midweek goal at Bolton with another opener.

Alternatively, Chris O’Grady is also a 7/1 shot with the same bookmaker and for the ambitious, William Hill offer 20/1 about Reda Johnson putting the Owls 1-0 up.

Elsewhere, bet365 make Barnsley’s Marcus Tudgay 7/1 to notch first as the Reds host Blackburn and Billy Paynter is 7/1 courtesy of BetVictor in the same market ahead of Doncaster’s League One clash at Preston.

Kieran Agard meanwhile, is 7/1 via Skybet to open the scoring for Rotherham at home to Accrington and bet365 chalk Drew Talbot up at a massive 16/1 to hand Chesterfield a 1-0 lead over Morecambe.
