Sheffield FC slipped to a second defeat in four days after throwing away a 2-0 lead against Goole AFC at Dronfield as the visitors fought back to win 3-2..

Jamie Hadfield went close with an early header that was pushed over the crossbar before Club’s bright start paid off on 17 minutes. A free kick just outside the area was laid off to Zeph Thomas who thumped a low shot inside the keeper right hand post.

Sheffield doubled their lead on 50 minutes when Andy Gascoigne knocked in the rebound after a Thomas shot had come back off the post. But five minutes later Goole were back in the game as substitute Matt Semley reduced the arrears.

Sheffield had chances to restore the two-goal cushion that were not taken and with 10 minutes remaining suddenly found themselves pegged back through David Taylor deflected effort. Worse was to follow when in stoppage time Jack Woolley completed the comeback with the winner against his former club.

Hallam were also hit with a late goal at Sandygate Road as Teversal grabbed a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Jake Bradbury curled a fine effort round the keeper to give the Countrymen a 25th minute lead. It looked like being enough to give Chris Sellars side a much needed win until Danny Swales struck from close range four minutes from time.

Worksop Parramore won 2-0 at Glasshoughton Welfare with goals from Lee Whittington and Danny Ingram either side of the interval.

Maltby Main also enjoyed a good away victory coming from behind to beat Liversedge 4-1 through Callum Black, Ben Middleton and a Brian Cusworth double.
