Parkgate continued their improvement with a third successive draw after coming away from one of the pre-season title favourites Bridlington Town with a deserved point from a 0-0 stalemate.

The Steelmen might have won as Oliver Graham went agonisingly clos late on.

Worksop Parramore stretched their unbeaten run to seven games a hard fought goalless draw at Retford United. The hosts went closest to snatching all three points when Lee Holmes late snap shot rattled the post.

It was also a blank day at Sheerien Park where it finished 0-0 between Athlersley Recreation and Staveley Miners Welfare.

There was no shortage of goals at Shaw Lane where Division One leaders Aquaforce rattled in nine goals without reply against Dinnington Town.

There were hat-tricks for Danny Frost and Ashley Flynn with Kane Reece 2, and Danny Barlow completing the rout.

Armthorpe Welfare ended a run of six defeats with a 3-1 win over AFC Liverpool in the FA Vase First Qualifying Round with goals by Kieran Benson, substitute Henry Sibenge and Danny Taylor (oenalty).

Rossington Main came frombehind at County Senior Penistone Church to go through 3-2. Lewis Dickinson’s header and a Jack Moore effort gave Church a 2-0 lead but Main came back through Ben Hunter’s deflected shot, Patrick Mullen’s curler from the edge of the box with Mullen knocking in a rebound six minutes from time for the winner.

Maltby Main’ have now lost eight in succession after crashing out 3-0 at home against Squires Gate.

In Sunday’s ties, Hallam lost out 2-1 to Division One rivals Shirebrook Town as former manager Julian Watts made it a winning return to Sandygate

Danny Booth scored against his former club to give Shirebrook a 20th minute lead.

Hallam equalised through a Bradley Sampson penalty but Shirebrook went through with an own-goal with 10 minutes remaining.

Dean Sidebottom snatched a last gasp equaliser for Worsbrough Bridge Athletic to send their tie with Ashton Town into extra-time in whichJames Young’s tremendous 30-yard effort put the Briggers through 2-1.
