Scott’s blast at fringe players

ROTHERHAM United manager Andy Scott has criticised players in his squad who aren’t prepared to be loaned to other teams.

He said that enquiries have been made for several out-of-favour players but they were unwilling to leave.

“Some have the opportunity to play for good clubs and they don’t want to go. Your job as a footballer is to play football,” he said. “You can’t force them out but they will have to work hard for their money.”
