Robins joy at Derby date
MARK Robins declared himself "absolutely delighted" with the Carling Cup draw that has given his Rotherham United side a home tie against Derby County.
"Apart from a clash with amny of the local clubs - for obvious reasons - this, for me, is the best draw we could get," said the Millers boss.
"I'm absolutely delighted with it, it's attractive opposition, they'll bring a good following and a Nigel clough side will come and play football.
"Everyone still remembers last season's run which do so much for this football club at what was a difficult time.
Robins forged strong links with Clough when he was manager at Burton and sent some Millers players on loan to them including Ryan Taylor and Jamie Yates."
Derby were the first ever Millers opposition at the Don Valley Stadium in a goalless friendly on July 9 last year.
