New arrival makes mark

ROTHERHAM United new commercial chief Steve Coakley is preparing to make an impact in his first days with the Millers.

Coakley, who moved from Sheffield Wednesday to become commercial director with Rotherham, says he has lined up a "major new club partner".

He said he had been working on a deal with a new sponsor and Coakley told the club's website "We are close to being able to reveal a new partner for the club.

"I am very excited about working with this particular company."

Coakley's move from Hillsborough, where he was highly regarded, was announced several weeks ago and he has just moved into his office at the Millers' admin centre at Parkgate.
