Millers lose ace Hudson

ROTHERHAM United have accepted that midfielder Mark Hudson is leaving them.

The former Chesterfield man, signed from Huddersfield Town two years ago, has turned down offers of a new contract.

"He will not be coming back and I wish him all the best elsewhere," said Millers manager Mark Robins.

Hudson, 28, came in the summer of 2007 but injured knee ligaments in a pre-season friendly and didn't make his debut until the 15th game of that season.

He made 83 appearances scoring 15 times.

Season ticket holders can reserve their normal seat up to Monday. After that they go on general sale.

The discount renewal date is June 30 with existing season ticket holders able to get them at 308 against the normal 342. New buyers can get them for 325 before the end of June. Reductions apply across other categories.
