Millers close to second signing

ROTHERHAM United’s bid to revamp the left-side of their team is expected to continue today with confirmation of a second signing this week.

After taking left back Scott Griffiths on loan from Peterborough until the end of the season, manager Andy Scott is expected to bring back Sam Wood from Brentford, whose first loan spell ended after the recent Bradford City game.

There is understood to have been keen interest in Bradford City left winger Jack Compton after his display against them in November but Scott maintained he wanted to bring Wood back before Saturday’s home game with Swindon.
