Millers boss to go for Pope

ROTHERHAM United could make Crewe Alexandra striker Tom Pope a major summer target.

The 23-year-old was watched by the Millers during this season and he may well figure high on the wanted list of manager Mark Robins.

Tall with a reputation for working hard, Pope was Crewe's top scorer with 10 goals from 26 appearances in what was a relegation season.

Robins has already brought in Chester's Kevin Ellison and been linked with Peterbor ough's Liam Hatch although it seems a move for Hatch is unlikely and that Pope appears a realistic target.
