Millers boost as Fenton accepts deal

CENTRAL defender Nick Fenton has become the latest Rotherham United player to extend his stay with the Millers.

Fenton has agreed an extension to his current contract with a two year deal and he joins Stephen Brogan, Ryan Taylor, Drewe Broughton, Dale Tonge and David Haggerty in agreeing new terms with the Millers as Mark Robins forges ahead with his plans for next season.

"I feel I have done well this season and the gaffer did say that if things went well he would reward me, so he has kept his promise," said Fenton who played in every game but the opening one of the season.

Sheffield United goalkeeper Jamie Annerson is joining the Millers following on the signing of Chester front man Kevin Ellison this week.

Former Millers players Paul Hurst and Rob Scott have been appointed joint managers of Boston United of the UniBond League Premier Division.
