Marshall moves to Macc

ROTHERHAM United right winger Marcus Marshall has joined Macclesfield Town on a month’s loan.

Marshall, aged 22, made 40 appearances last season but, after playing regularly at the start of this campaign, is now on the first-team fringe.

He did play in last Saturday’s defeat to Port Vale, his first start since early December, but was selected as a right-back.

New loan signing Kieron Cadogan, from Palace, will take Marshall’s place on the right flank at Dagenham this afternoon.

It’s a return to Dagenham for Millers’ on-loan left-back, Scott Griffiths, who made more than 100 appearances for the Daggers before joining Peterborough a couple of years ago.

Skipper Danny Harrison could return in midfield.
