Lynch fit and raring to go
ROTHERHAM United defender Mark Lynch, a long-term absentee last season, is raring to go for next season.
The added incentive is that Lynch looks lined up already for a starting spot at right back in the opening game at home to Accrington Stanley on August 8.
Last season's regular right back Dale Tonge will be serving a one-match ban for his red card in the final game of last season against Exeter whilst another contender, Marc Joseph, is expected to be late starting his pre-season build-up due to a groin problem.
Lynch, who joined the Millers a year ago from Yeovil, played the first nine games last season and then dislocated his shoulder and required surgery.
He made a brief appearance as a sub in the win at Notts County at Christmas but shortly afterwards damaged ankle ligaments and was never in contention again.
