As good as Rotherham United’s results have been since they gained promotion to League One, Matt Tubbs is still waiting to make a significant contribution to their play-off tilt.
Since joining the Millers in July, the striker has struggled to make an impact, failing to score in 11 appearances. The majority of Tubbs’ run-outs have come from the substitutes’ bench.

He played in Rotherham’s behind closed doors friendly at Leeds United in midweek as he continues to build up his match fitness.
“It’s frustrating because I came here when I was injured,” he said. “I have been doing extra work here and there trying to get myself up to speed.”
