ROTHERHAM United manager Andy Scott has called on his side to improve as a defensive unit.

“We need to be more ruthless as a group defensively,” said the Millers manager who saw his side draw 3-3 at Torquay after leading 3-1.

“We have to make sure everyone knows their job and carries them out.

“Defensively, we have to make better decisions and understand what is required. We did not do that here.”

Defender Johnny Mullins is set to make his comeback this afternoon when he plays for Rotherham’s reserves against Port Vale at Parkgate (2pm).

He suffered a knee injury five months ago, his last appearance being on April 2 and his return is ahead of the estimate given at the time.
