ROTHERHAM United manager Andy Scott is already planning for next season and saying the players will face their hardest pre-season ever.
The new boss again questioned the ability of the team to last the full 90 minutes.
“We looked good for an hour-70 minutes (on Monday) but then tailed off,” he said. “We have not got the necessary energy levels that you need.
“Their fitness and conditioning is miles off what it should be and the first priority is to make sure they realise this.
“They will get programmes for the summer (close season) and when they come back it is going to be the hardest pre-season they’ve ever had.
“But it will be their best season if they do what they’re supposed to do.”
Scott has written off Rotherham’s play-off chances. With two games remaining Stevenage, sixth, and Gillingham, seventh, are six points ahead and so only need a point to definitely kill off the Millers.
