ROTHERHAM United came away from their three goal comeback at Morecambe with a couple of injury problems to sort out ahead of Saturday’s trip to Northampton.
Top scorer Lewis Grabban, who had netted his eighth goal of the season, came off at half-time with a back spasm whilst goalkeeper Andy Warrington suffered a thigh injury and was unable to take goal kicks late in the match.
In addition, striker Alex Revell went off late on after a couple of knocks to the ankle although manager Andy Scott said he was also “physically and emotionally shattered,” a state contributed to by the birth of his son at the weekend.
The Millers go into Saturday’s match without a win in nine matches, eight of them in the league but with Scott confident that the way they played to come back at Morecambe will be a great boost.
Northampton suffered a fourth straight with Tuesday’s 3-1 home defeat by Hereford.
