Rotherham United chairman Tony Stewart is to be made a Freeman of Rotherham.

Mr Stewart has overseen the return of the club to their new New York Stadium after playing at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield and they begin next season in the Championship after successive promotions from League Two under manager Steve Evans.

World Cup final referee in 2010 Howard Webb was made a Freeman of the Borough in Rotherham in 2011.
