MANAGER Steve Evans has acquired a place in Rotherham so that he can be right on top of the job.

Evans said he felt it was important to be in the town and his assistant, Paul Raynor, will be up here as well.

“It’s important to be here. I shall live and breathe this football club and want people at it who will do the same,” said Evans.

He has released defender Richard Naylor who joined the club in January after leaving Doncaster Rovers. The 35-year-oldmade five appearances and had been out for two months with knee trouble.
