ROTHERHAM United manager Steve Evans, one of the most active bosses all season in terms of player signings, says he is prepared to stick by the squad he now has for the final stretch of the season.

The Millers boss did not rule out adding to it at some stage if necessary but, with the window for loan signings re-opening today, Evans said he did not expect to be doing business any time soon.

“I am happy to go with the squad we have right now; I have belief in the players here,” said Evans who has made 23 signings in all since pre-season and during the campaign.

“That’s not to say we rule out further recruitment completely or that we might not add the odd player, but it would be only if that player most definitely will improve us. We’ve a good squad here.”

The Millers have a big clash tomorrow at promotion rivals Burton Albion with Claude Davis available again, Lee Frecklington back from injury and David Noble and Michael O’Connor shaking off knocks.
