ROTHERHAM United manager Steve Evans wants the club’s fans to pack into the New York Stadium tomorrow night and create a cauldron-like atmosphere for their clash against York City.
Having watched the Minstermen draw 0-0 at Oxford United on Saturday, the Millers chief believes Gary Mills’ side will provide a stern test of their promotion credentials.
He said: “We need our supporters to turn up in big numbers and create the same noise and atmosphere they did for the Chesterfield match; this for me will be tougher.
“On the night, patience will be needed and empathy towards the players’ task as York will certainly make it very difficult for us.”
Evans will assess the fitness of top-scorer Daniel Nardiello (groin) and winger Daniel Kearns (hamstring) today.
