Rotherham United boss Steve Evans will have to make one enforced change to his back four ahead of their home tussle with Colchester United.
Skipper Craig Morgan sits out the League One fixture having collected his fifth caution of the season in their narrow defeat at Leyton Orient last weekend.
His absence gives Evans a selection dilemma as the Millers look to end a four-match winless sequence.
Pablo Mills is in contention to replace Morgan at the heart of Rotherham’s rearguard. The versatile player has featured six times since he rejoined the South Yorkshire outfit at the end of August. Mills was given a run-out in the reserves 3-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers in midweek.
It is not beyond the realms of possibility Evans could recall Claude Davis. The Jamaican international is edging closer to full fitness following a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Davis has not played since mid-September.
Evans will be concerned by the number of bookings his team are racking up. Lee Frecklington missed their recent draw with Tranmere Rovers after picking up five yellow cards while Kari Arnason and Rob Milsom are both just one caution away from having to serve automatic one-match bans.
Michael O’Connor was also given his marching orders at MK Dons.
