RONNIE Moore says he wants to see Rotherham United come out in credit in what he regards as “a massive month” in their League Two promotion challenge.
“It got off to a bad start at Port Vale so it was vital we won a very important game against Crewe and the lads deserve credit for that,” said the Millers manager whose side go to Gillingham tomorrow.
“February is a massive month; seven games and five against teams fighting for the same thing as we are.
“Both teams knew the importance and significance of a win. The three points put a gap between us and Crewe - had it gone the other way they’d have been above us. I thought we showed endeavour and workrate. We pressed and closed Crewe down first half and we kept the ball well.”
