ROTHERHAM (4-4-1-1)

LEWIS CAMP 8

Superb saves to foil Conor Washington and Tjarron Chery (twice). The biggest compliment I can pay him is Lee Camp wasn’t missed.

DARNELL FISHER 7

Hia best game since Norwich City away in October. Looked sharp and was simpler and more solid in his defending.

RICHARD WOOD 8

Did what Richard Wood does and did it well. A proper defender.

AIMEN BELAID 8

Totally justified his first call-up in 11 months. Composed, competitive and assured.

JOE MATTOCK 7

Decent, unfussy display.

ANTHONY FORDE 6

Tried to take the game to QPR and worked really hard out of possession.

TOM ADEYEMI 8

His best display in a Millers shirt. Constantly pressing, winning possession and breaking up QPR attacks.

LEE FRECKLINGTON 8

The legend grows. Hadn’t played for five matches yet ran more than anyone. His desire to go the extra yard is what Rotherham are all about.

JOE NEWELL 7

He won’t live down that miss, but his running caused problems and some of his deliveries were real quality.

IZZY BROWN 8

This was the Izzy Brown we love. Dangerous every time he had the ball, scored and he put in a shift as well.

DANNY WARD 8

His pace, mobility and aerial abilility were too much for QPR. Led their defence a merry dance.

SUBSTITUTES:

WILL VAULKS

On in the 85th minute for Adeyemi.

JON TAYLOR

An 85th-minute replacement for Izzy Brown. His pace caused problems but fluffed a great chance to set up Danny Ward.

STEPHEN KELLY

On in time added on for Joe Newell and won two important headers.
