Rotherham United manager Steve Evans, who was sent from the touchline on Saturday at MK Dons, will have no further action taken against him by the FA.

The Millers manager was involved in an altercation with a steward in the tunnel at half-time when Evans took offence at the steward putting his arm on him.

Evans denied swearing or using abusive language and it is understood that this is backed up in the report of referee Robert Madley whom Evans was speaking to at the time the steward stepped between them.

“I shouted at him (the steward) to ask him to take his arm off me, and didn’t swear, and I was sent up into the stands for shouting,” said Evans.

The banishment to the stand for the second half has been deemed as sufficient punishment.
