JOHNNY Mullins has been recalled by Rotherham United as manager Steve Evans battles with a worsening injury crisis and tries to add to his squad.

The defender has been on loan at Oxford but the loss of Craig Morgan, most likely until January, and the closure of the loan window at 5pm today meant a recall for Mullins.

Josh Morris’ loan spell looks to be over after his leg injury on Tuesday. Lee Frecklington was set to extend his stay but will need a check on the extent of his back injury.

Evans will aim for loan signings today ahead of Saturday’s trip to Exeter.
