LEAGUE Two promotion hopefuls Rotherham United have captured Hull City winger Jamie Devitt on a one-month loan deal, writes Dom Howson.

The 22-year-old, who has not featured for the Tigers this season, is in line to make his Millers debut in their FA Cup first round clash with Stevenage this weekend.

With Lionel Ainsworth facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Evans wanted to bolster his options on the flanks.

“We watched him on Tuesday and he’s someone we’ve always liked from a distance,” said Evans.

Rotherham, who head into the tie looking for a fourth successive win, have been further boosted by the news Lee Frecklington, on loan from Peterborough United, has been granted permission to play in the competition.

However, striker Daniel Nardiello is a doubt after picking up a groin strain.
