DANIEL Nardiello will look to break the 20 goal barrier this afternoon when Rotherham United take on Fleetwood at the New York Stadium.
He was restored to the side in midweek and netted his 19th goal in a season when he has found himself in and out of the side.
“He’s such an unbelievable natural talent,” said manager Steve Evans who came in for criticism for leaving his top scorer on the sidelines at Morecambe.
“Some people think Daniel doesn’t like it if I don’t pick him and that I won’t like it if he doesn’t work hard enough. Well, work hard enough and Steve Evans will pick you.
“I had a chat with him the day before the Exeter game. I don’t think he expected to play but even before Morecambe I knew he would. He knew what was wanted and he delivered.
“He was left out earlier this season and reacted the right way when he came back.”
Fleetwood are set to include ex-Millers man Gareth Evans.
