Boss Steve Evans hopes four days away from home will pay off for Rotherham United against Brighton tonight.
The Millers, with a 22-strong squad of players, have based themselves in the South since Friday rather than travel back from Saturday’s Charlton game and then make another long trip.
“The chairman (Tony Stewart) gives us every chance,” Evans said. “Us staying away for four days for two games a year ago would never have been entertained.”
Evans, who may freshen up his side, knows the Millers face a tought test at the Championship table-toppers.
“You only have to look at the investment they’ve made in their team,” he said. “I dread to think the comparable differences in finances.
We’ll get organised, we’ll get efficient.”
