League One promotion hopefuls Rotherham United have today captured striker Wes Thomas for an undisclosed fee from AFC Bournemouth.
Subject to FA/Football League ratification, the 26-year-old has initially joined the Millers, who sit in fifth position in the third-tier of English football, until the end of the season.
Steve Evans, the Rotherham manager, knows Thomas from their days together at Crawley Town.
“Wes is an excellent signing and I thank our chairman for his continued support,” Evans said. “The lad had several options but he has decided to join us and we are all delighted.”
