Rotherham United had a scare over new defender Miles Addison yesterday when he went for a scan on a foot injury suffered in training.

At first there was a fear he may have broken something but manager Steve Evans says it was just bruising.

“When something like this happens we send players for X-rays and a scan and that’s what we did here and it was bruised and we expect Miles to be in training today,” said Evans.

He said they did the same with Rob Milsom who had a thigh injury and he expects the midfielder to be in training today too.

Craig Morgan had surgery to remove a piece of floating bone in his big toe and will be out for the next couple of games and certainly misses Saturday’s trip to Shrewsbury who have lost their last five at home.
