CARETAKER manager Darren Patterson feels that the Rotherham United players have responded to the pressure being taken off them.
They make a first visit to AFC Wimbledon today having won two and played extremely well in defeat at Crawley in the last three games.
“Maybe the pressure has been lifted off the lads along with that weight of expectation of being up and around the play-offs all year now we have slipped down the table,” said Patterson.
“But I have been very happy with them and how we have set our stall out to play. We’ll go there looking to attack.”
