ROTHERHAM United will get the chance tonight to experience what New York Stadium will be like when it is close to its 12,000 capacity.

“Since it’s been built, people have said they can’t wait to see what it’s like full. Well, it won’t be far off tonight and I think there’ll be a great atmosphere,” said manager Steve Evans ahead of the clash with Sheffield United.

“We’ve already had a sample of the noise that can be generated. With it being against a local rivals and with the Blades bringing a lot of fans, I think it will be electric.”

Evans has revealed that the pursuit of Celtic youngster Tony Watt has ended following the signing of ex-Yeovil striker Kieran Agard.

Howard Webb is the referee.
