It’s a case of returning home for Rotherham United goalkeeper Adam Collin today.
But he doesn’t have to travel as far as his Millers teammates as they head for his former club Carlisle because he still lives in Cumbria.
Collin, who made 159 appearances for Carlisle, was let go last Summer having lost his No 1 spot. He joined the Millers and seemed set for a long stint as No 2 to Scott Shearer.
However, a dip in form by Shearer saw Collin get his chance in October and he has grabbed it and stayed in the team ever since.
“I came here to challenge for a place and was determined to take it if it came my way,” he said. “Obviously I look forward to this one, I had four years there.”
