ROTHERHAM United have parted company with manager Andy Scott this afternoon after just 11 months in charge, writes Dom Howson.

The Millers have won just four times since the turn of the year and are eight points off the League Two play-off placings following Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Oxford United.

A statement on the club’s official website read: “The club would like to place on record our thanks for Andy’s time and effort while he has been with Rotherham United and we wish him well for the future.”

It is still not clear who will be in charge of tomorrow night’s clash with Macclesfield Town.
