AFTER suggesting that he may look to freshen up his team next weekend, Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has admitted that he got it wrong at Cheltenham.
The Millers manager made his admission when reflecting on the match and speaking to the club’s website.
“I picked the wrong team and system for this particular match,” he admitted adding that he felt the team lacked creativity.
In the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s defeat, Evans said he would consider ‘freshening things up’ for another big game against another of the promotion rivals Exeter City at the New York Stadium on Saturday.
He will certainly have Kari Arnason available again after his ban and other squad players likely to be in contention are set to figure for the reserves today against Oldham at Parkgate, a game where the kick off time has been brought forward to noon.
Rotherham go into the game two points behind Exeter who are fifth.
