ROTHERHAM United have suffered another shattering injury blow with the news that defender Craig Morgan looks like being out until after Christmas.

The central defender, who has been excellent since signing in September, has broken a small bone in his ankle and manager Steve Evans estimates he will be out for five weeks and it may be longer.

“He’s been brilliant and it’s another big loss for us,” said Evans who is weighing up the option of bringing someone else in rather than simply recalling Johnny Mullins from Oxford, particularly with the loan window shutting next Thursday until January.

“It needs to be considered carefully and it isn’t straightforward,” said Evans whose side have bottom-side Wycombe as visitors tomorrow.
