STRIKER Alex Revell says that it’s an exciting time being at Rotherham United right now - and that’s why he has signed a new contract.
The big striker heads for today’s big game at Plymouth with a new two year deal signed although he could have moved on at the end of the season.
“I’m delighted to stay because it’s an exciting time to be here with what’s happened and continues to happen and the gifted players we have,” said Revell.
“It’s great playing in an atmosphere like we had last week and then, on Tuesday, the atmosphere at Bradford was fantastic.
“Hopefully, we can get the club back to the next division and I know the club doesn’t want it to end there either.”
Revell leads the line at Plymouth this afternoon where a win will put Rotherham three points from promotion although John Sheridan’s in-form team are going well and a point would probably be enough for them to survive.
Meanwhile, Rotherham have put 1,500 additional tickets on sale for next week’s final home game against Aldershot.
They have sent Aldershot a small allocation, as required, but expect to fill the rest of the ground with Millers fans such is the demand.
