ROTHERHAM United manager Steve Evans says the fans could make a difference at the New York Stadium as the Millers seek some overdue FA Cup success.
They take on League One high-fliers Stevenage and, for the first time this season at their new ground, will start as underdogs.
“Our support has been tremendous this season and the fans have been great and they deserve a cup run because the club hasn’t had any cup success for years,” said Evans.
“I hope they turn up again in numbers and come and get behind the boys because we’re all in this together and we need their backing; they can lift us a bit further and could be the difference.
“When you have some cup success, they are magical days and we’d love a bit of that magic here,” added Evans who could hand a debut to on winger Jamie Devitt on loan from Hull City.
