WINGER Daniel Kearns offered a timely reminder of his capabilities yesterday as Rotherham United’s reserves thumped Bradford City.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Millers on loan from Peterborough United last month, scored either side of half-time in the club’s 4-0 victory over their Yorkshire rivals. Kieran Agard and Dan Rowe also found the back of the net whilst first-team players Alex Revell, Dale Tonge and Courtney Cameron were given run-outs at the John Charles Centre for Sport.

Kearns, who began his career at West Ham United, has struggled to command a regular first-team place since moving to the New York Stadium on a temporary basis, featuring just two times as a substitute against Barnet and Northampton. He is set to stay with the promotion-chasing Millers until the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
