ALEX Revell, the Rotherham United striker, has labelled his club’s Bank Holiday fixtures “massive.”
Steve Evans’ side, who are seventh in the League Two table, entertain AFC Wimbledon on Friday before visiting leaders Gillingham 72 hours later.
Revell said: “They are massive and we want to try and get maximum points from the next two games.
“Obviously going down to Gillingham will be tough but I think we should have beaten them when we were at home, so we can take confidence from that.”
Revell, who has scored four goals this term, revealed the postponement of last weekend’s clash with Exeter City has not cast a shadow over preparations for the clash with AFC.
“We were in on Sunday and managed to get onto the pitches and have a good session today to build up to Friday,” he added.
“Training has been good and we’re all looking forward to a big weekend.”
