MICHAEL Raynes will shake off the effects of a broken nose and play for Rotherham United as they strive to make it three wins from three on their visit to Crewe Alexandra tonight.
“He’ll be okay,” confirmed Millers boss Andy Scott. “If centre halves put their head in the way to make sure we get three points, then that’s part of the job and fine by me.”
Scott didn’t confirm it but it seems likely he will name an unchanged side after such a convincing display at Plymouth.
“You can read to much into the first two games and although Crewe have lost theirs, they came back on Saturday and could have got something. They’ll be smarting,” he said.
“But we’ll be ready to deal with whatever come but aim to ensure we affect the game by putting our mark on it.”
