Manager Andy Scott regards new signing Alex Revell as a “good fit” for Rotherham United.
“It’s fair to say that we have not been as physical up front as we could be and, in League Two, you need to be able to cope physically,” said the Millers manager.
“I feel Alex will help out our other front players with his physical presence but this isn’t someone who is just a statue up there.
“He works extremely hard, he runs the channels and he scores goals - he had 16 at Orient last season.
“He can play different positions too, having played wide right of a three and even played out wide in a four at Orient.
“His understanding of the game is good, at 28 he’s a good age and we’ve got him for a good price. I’ve actually followed his career for a long time and I’m delighted. He’ll fit in here and be a good fit with the squad we’ve got.”
Revell could debut at Swindon tomorrow (12.15) with Mark Bradley pushing for a start in midfield.
