Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore has admitted a Fo otball Association charge of misconduct and requested a personal hearing, the governing body has announced.

Former Millers boss Moore was suspended by Tranmere on February 17 after an investigation was launched by the FA’s Football Integrity Unit, and the 61-year-old was last week charged over “multiple breaches” of betting rules.

Current regulations prohibit players, managers and club officials from betting on competitions in which their teams are involved.

Rovers will review Moore’s position at Prenton Park within the next 24 hours.
