AS they head to Stockport tonight, Rotherham United followers will need no reminding of the last time their favourites faced opposition whose recent results apparently marked them down as no-hopers.
Exactly a year ago, the Millers-re-started after a six week weather-induced break against rock-bottom Darlington who'd had a similar break but had lost their five games before it and conceded five in the most recent game.
But, during the break, they'd signed five new players - and they proceeded to stun the Millers by beating them.
In a remarkably similar scenario, Stockport have lost their last three with the last outing being a 5-1 home defeat to Gillingham on Saturday.
What's more they included four new signings brought in by ex-player Peter Ward who took over last week after the departure of Paul Simpson.
With Rotherham on a seven game unbeaten league run of which they've won the last three without conceding a goal, it goes without saying, therefore, who will be fancied at Edgeley Park tonight.
Which is precisely why manager Ronnie Moore issued a timely warning to his players at training yesterday.
"If we think we've only to turn up then we're in for a shock," said the Millers boss. "We've got to go out and earn those three points."
Stockport brought in experienced striker Anthony Elding from Rochdale and the enigmatic Ishmel Demontagnac from Blackpool as well as the less experienced Steve Husband, also from Blackpool, and Matt Grieve from Newcastle.
At right back they had Mark Lynch who had a couple of seasons with Rotherham before being released last Summer whilst left back was former Barnsley and Hudddersfield man Robbie Williams.
The game will see a return to Edgeley Park for Johnny Mullins who was Stockport's Player of the Year last season.
He will be in centre defence again and Dale Tonge again at right back with Danny Coid still out with an ankle injury.
Kevin Ellison is set to return on the left in place of departed Will Atkinson.
