Rotherham United will put new loan striker Tom Eaves straight into the squad for the game at Walsall on Saturday.
Eaves, 21 and topping six foot, expects to complete a three month loan move today from Bolton Wanderers who signed him from Oldham three years ago in what is believed to be a six figure deal.
He had a 15 game loan spell at Bristol Rovers last season scoring seven times and then a 10 game spell with Shrewsbury in which he scored six goals including a hat-trick against Crawley.
Eaves trained with the Millers today with the move subject to a medical and manager Steve Evans said: “Tom is a big, strong player, well regarded at Bolton and I’m happy to have got him ahead of the other League One clubs in for him. Assuming no hitches, he’ll be straight into the squad.”
