ROTHERHAM United have had an anxious wait over the fitness of central defenders Ryan Cresswell and Nick Fenton for today’s home game with Morecambe.
The pair - who have only played together five times this season - missed the midweek game against Shrewsbury due to injuries picked up the previous Friday at Lincoln in a game in which Cresswell replaced Fenton at half-time.
“We’ll leave it late but the players will tell me if they can play,” said caretaker-manager Andy Liddell.
“If there is a risk then they will not play.”
On Tuesday, Luke Aswhorth partnered Johnny Mullins but was replaced at half-time with midfielder Jason Taylor who played in centre defence.
