ROTHERHAM United loanee Sam Wood has expressed his relief at feeling “wanted” again.
The winger, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by parent club Brentford, joined the Millers on a temporary basis a week ago. His loan deal runs until January 9 and the left-sided player made his debut in the 2-1 defeat to promotion-chasing Crawley Town.
Wood said: “It is a great feeling to be wanted by someone. It is a massive thing in football when someone wants you. I worked with Andy Scott [Millers manager] at Brentford so we have a good understanding and he knows what I can do.”
